The Osiris Child. Falcon Films' May 2017 trailer.
This is bizarre. Earlier today, One Media posted a trailer for this film, which is the most boring trailer I've ever seen. Seriously, it made the Inhumans trailers look thrilling.
Then I came across this, which is a trailer for the same film but from earlier this year.
It's like a totally different movie. Where that one was all brooding, angst and moping, this one has the stuff in it you actually want from sci-fi. It has monsters, it has gun fights, it has dramatic music, it has flying around, it has unpleasantness, it has a convict on the run, it has action scenes and general all-round kick-bottomness.
Having made a compelling trailer for a film you'd actually want to see, why would they then, months later, produce a trailer guaranteed to empty any cinema?
I don't have a clue but thank God this trailer exists because, thanks to it, I know it's a film I might actually have a chance of appreciating.
